Friendly Reminder: Two Things That Help Us Keep Your Deliveries Coming

So far, 2018 has been the year of weather swing: for the second time in less than a month, we’ve had a 30-degree shift in temperature within a 24-hour period.

That kind of roller coaster weather keeps us busy as we deliver the propane and heating oil that keeps you warm and your family safe – but we need your help to make sure that everyone gets their fuel when they need it most.

Here are the two most important things you can do to help us keep the fuel deliveries coming this winter:

  • Keep your propane tank free and clear – Try to keep at least a 12-inch path to your fill pipe. If your fill pipe is accessible through your driveway, please clear the driveway and sand or salt it; by law, we can’t deliver your heating oil or propane if it’s unsafe to do so. Keep in mind that our delivery vehicles need a 9-foot to 10-foot-wide clear path in your driveway to maneuver.
  • Order when your tank is no less than one quarter full – Avoid calling at the last minute – we might not be able to immediately accommodate your delivery request, especially during severe weather. If you want to avoid the hassle of calling altogether, sign up for FREE Automatic Delivery and we’ll take care of ordering and delivering your fuel for you.

Did you know that we accelerate our delivery schedule when severe weather is forecast so we can get extra delivery runs in ahead of the storm? It’s just one more way that Carroll stands apart. Contact us today to schedule a delivery – or to join the Carroll family of customers.
