Which Home Comfort Plan is right for me? |
|
A Home Comfort Plan is the smartest way to protect your equipment from unforeseen breakdowns - and to protect your family's finances from costly repairs.
- Do you have a heat pump?
If so, Carroll offers just one home comfort plan for heat pumps and air conditioners - the ULTRA Comfort A/C and Heat Pump Plan. This is a very comprehenaive plan that covers most major breakdowns at 15% below our prevailing rates and includes an annual 12-point precision tune-up.
- Do you have an oil tank?
If you do, Carroll offers a Tank Sure Program which can help protect your tank and your home from corrosion and messy leaks.
- Do you need 24 hour emergency repair service?
Carroll's ULTRA Comfort Plan offers a 24 hour response time for emergency repairs of your oil burner, furnace, and water heater. This is our most expensive comfort plan, but it covers the greatest number of parts, and it also offers an annual 12-point tune-up.
- Do you want to make sure an annual tune-up is part of your Home Comfort Plan?
All of Carroll's Home Comfort Plans include an annual 12-point tune-up, with the exception of the Tank Sure Program.

What are the differences between the ULTRA Comfort Plan, the Comfort Plan, the Economy Plan, and the Water Heater Plan? |
|
All four plans offer an annual 12-point tune-up, and all four are eligible for Carroll Home Services' Loyalty Credit Program.
The ULTRA Comfort Plan is the most expensive plan, and it covers the greatest number of parts for repair of your furnace, burner, and water heater. It is the only plan that provides 24-hour emergency repair service.
The Comfort Plan is the second-most expensive plan. It covers most parts for repair of your furnace, burner, and water heater, but not as many as the ULTRA Comfort Plan.
The Economy Plan is less expensive than the Comfort and ULTRA Comfort plans, but instead of covering parts and repairs on certain parts, it gives you a 15% discount on repair or replacement of the parts covered by the plan.
The Water Heater Plan is the least expensive of these four Home Comfort Plans, and it covers parts most likely to need repair on your water heater.

Why do I need the Tank Sure Plan? |
|
The Tank Sure Plan can help save you the expense and headache of a leaky oil tank. With the Tank Sure Plan, our trained technicians test the thickness of your tank and the level of corrosion inside. This way, you can help stop leaks before they happen by proactively replacing tanks that may soon become a problem. The Tank Sure Program even covers up to $1,000 towards tank replacement.
