FAQs About Air Conditioners

What is the difference between a heat pump and an air conditioning unit? Which is more efficient for cooling?
An air conditioning unit is used only to cool the house whereas a heat pump is used for both heating and cooling. The heat pump will effectively cool your home when the temperature outside is 30oF or above outside.
